Toronto in February reminds you what matters: heat that works, doors that close properly, and somewhere dry to leave your boots.

Hello Friends & Community — Happy February!

Welcome to the February edition of our newsletter! Winter is still in full swing, but the season brings plenty of warmth — through great food, inspiring events around the city, and cozy moments shared with loved ones. Here’s what’s happening this month.

A snowy park with leafless trees and a crowd of people walking on a path, with tall modern skyscrapers and a tower in the background.

Rent Reminder! Please pay your rent if it is still due.
Late payment of rent is a responsibility outlined by the Residential Tenancies Act.

If you’ve already paid your rent, thank you very much!

Last Month you received a carbon monoxide detector. If you haven’t already done so, please plug it/them in.

Februray 2026 - Rental Property Care Tips

  • Check for drafts now, not later

Cold air around windows, balcony doors, and baseboards is easiest to spot in February. Seal gaps before your heating system works any harder.

  • Clear vents and radiators

Furniture, rugs, or clutter blocking heat sources reduce efficiency and create cold zones. Make sure warm air can actually circulate.

  • Watch for condensation, not just leaks

February humidity swings cause window and wall condensation. Wipe it down and note patterns — ongoing moisture leads to mold.

  • Test smoke & CO detectors

Heating systems run hardest this month. Replace batteries and test alarms — especially in condos with shared mechanical systems.

  • Protect drains and pipes

Check balcony drains, emergency exits, and storage areas. Ice buildup, blocked exits, and overloaded storage are common February hazards.

  • Do a quick winter safety walk-through

Check balcony drains, emergency exits, and storage areas. Ice buildup, blocked exits, and overloaded storage are common February hazards.

Test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors on the 1st day of each month. If they do not work or need attention, please contact the support team through the app and we will be glad to assist you.
