How to Submit a Maintenance Request

In order to submit a maintenance request online, you must be ‘connected’ with your Landlord / Property Manager and have a shared lease.

Safety Starts with You: Be Proactive in Your Home

Tenant safety is a top priority, and it starts with you. Always keep an eye out for potential hazards and take precautions to stay safe. Test your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors every month - if they do not work, please get in touch with us immediately. If you notice any safety concerns—like faulty locks, broken stairs, or fire risks—report them to our Support Team immediately. Together, we can maintain a secure and comfortable living environment!

Spring Tips:

  • Check & Clean the Vents

Dust and pet hair can build up in air vents and filters. Wipe down vents and replace filters (if responsible) to keep the air fresh and energy bills lower.

  • Test Smoke & CO Detectors

Press the test button on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure they are working. Replace batteries if needed and notify the landlord of any issues.

  • Report Any Leaks

Check under sinks, around toilets, and near appliances for any leaks or drips. A small issue can turn into a big repair, so report it promptly to avoid water damage.

  • Keep Gutters & Drains Clear

If accessible, remove leaves or debris from exterior drains and small gutters to prevent water buildup near entryways or patios.

  • Inspect Doors & Windows

Look for drafts or damage to weather stripping. If you feel a breeze coming through, let your landlord know—it can help with energy efficiency and prevent moisture issues.

  • Prepare your Garden or Balcony Garden

If your rental has a balcony, patio, or small yard, sweep up winter debris, wipe down furniture, and check for any loose railings or pavers that may need attention.

How to prepare for your upcoming inspection.

Over the next few months, we will be sending you notice to complete an inspection of your property. If you have any questions about your upcoming inspection, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Here are some tips below to help you prepare for the inspection.

  • 1. Tidy Up the Space

Ensure your home is clean and presentable by tidying up common areas, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces. A neat space makes the inspection process quicker and smoother for everyone involved.

  • 2. Check Safety Features

Test smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure they are functioning properly. Replace batteries if needed and let our support team know of any concerns.

  • 3. Address Minor Repairs

Fix any small issues, such as replacing burnt-out light bulbs or tightening loose screws. For larger maintenance concerns, submit a request through the tenant portal in advance.

  • 4. Clear Access to Utilities

Ensure that areas like the furnace, water heater, and electrical panel are easily accessible for our support team to inspect. Remove any clutter that might block access.

  • 5. Secure Pets

If you have pets, make arrangements to secure them during the inspection. This keeps both your pets and our support team comfortable and safe.

  • 6. Communicate Any Issues

Use the inspection as an opportunity to report any maintenance needs or concerns. Our support team is here to help keep your rental in great condition for you.
